Registration will be open February 1st, 7AM!

At our summer camp, we acknowledge the power of mindfulness and seek to deepen our connection to the world around us in the most practical way we know how, farming!

We are a new farm-based summer camp that values mindfulness and intentionally engaging with nature whose programming consists of farm animal care, field and forest exploration, planting and harvesting, nature crafts, and water fun!

Daily Activities

A day at camp runs from 9am to 3pm. Drop off is located on the front porch of the first barn (Round the Bend Farm across the front) and parents/guardians must sign their child in and out. Our daily activities consist of animal care/cuddles, harvesting and/or planting, and group games in our gaga ball court, straw maze, or cornmaze. All while exploring and learning about authentic sustainable farming. Pickup is in the same location as drop off. (First barn porch)

Participants will learn about and engage with the farm in a whole new way! Just some camp activities include participating in the compost program, caring for and learning about the animals on the farm (cows, pigs, goats, sheep, alpaca, peacocks, etc.), creating unique nature-themed crafts often sourced from nature itself, planting in their own assigned raised garden bed for the week, as well as getting a chance the harvest and clean the mature version of the same fruits and veggies they plant! During water fun, participants will cool off and use our inflatable water slide and sprinklers.

Just some of our program activities include,

-planting -foraging and identification -pest identification  -flower pressing -stream study

-education on organic growing methods, permaculture, and natural pest management

-making natural dyes -making treats for farm animals  -collecting eggs and washing -composting

-leaf luminaries -and so much MORE!

Our program for children aged 5-10 years old consists of 7 one-week long sessions running from July to the end of August with 1 week in August available in individual days for those 18+ who miss the summer camp experience and want to learn more about sustainable agriculture and mindfulness, and want to engage more with nature.

Participants are expected to provide their own lunch. In the event a participant does not have a lunch a peanut free lunch will be provided.
